Ian Barker Gardens are currently looking to fill a position in our Maintenance division.

Ian Barker Gardens are an award-winning landscape design, construction and maintenance company based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. The company specialises in high-end residential garden construction and care.

Maintenance Supervisor

We currently have an opportunity for a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to join our successful Maintenance team. The ideal applicant will have:

• Certificate II or III in Horticulture.  Students currently completing studies are also encouraged to apply.
• Residential garden maintenance experience.
• Own vehicle and current manual driver’s license.

Strengths:

• Strong horticultural knowledge and practical expertise across plants, turf, pests & diseases. Pruning techniques will be highly regarded.
• Self motivated with ability to work to schedules and as part of a team.
• Well presented, friendly manner, professional work ethic with excellent time management and communication skills.
• Ability to operate tools & equipment related to garden maintenance.
